About BdB Hold B.V.

We operate an online learning platform for practical workplace education across Canada, delivered fully online from our registered base in the Netherlands.

Who we are

BdB Hold B.V. is an independent provider of online professional education serving learners throughout Canada. Our catalogue focuses on transferable workplace skills—business administration, workplace communication, leadership development, project management fundamentals, productivity routines, organizational effectiveness, and career development practices that fit a wide range of roles.

The work is intentionally practical. Instead of long theory blocks, learners build outputs that look like real work: a meeting agenda with timeboxes, a decision log, a simple stakeholder update, a workback plan, or a weekly prioritisation board. We use familiar workplace artefacts such as RACI matrices, action registers, and short after-action reviews to keep learning grounded and easy to reuse.

Everything is delivered online and designed to be accessible across provinces and territories. We provide education and learner support only. We do not provide holding company services, consulting, financial services, legal services, accounting, investment services, recruitment, employment placement, software development, engineering services, healthcare services, immigration services, or any regulated professional services.

Founding story

BdB Hold B.V. began in 2021 after seeing the same pattern in modern offices: people were expected to “be good at work” without ever being taught the unglamorous mechanics—how to run a meeting that ends with decisions, how to write an update that doesn’t trigger confusion, or how to plan a small project without a heavyweight system.

The goal was to build short, repeatable training that produces clear outputs learners can take back to their team on Monday. That philosophy still shapes how we write lessons, design exercises, and support learners.

Mission, vision, and learning philosophy

Our mission is to provide accessible, practical, and flexible online education that supports lifelong learning and professional development. We design learning that respects real schedules: short modules, clear expectations, and exercises that create work-ready artefacts rather than abstract reflections.

Our vision is to become a trusted provider of online professional education helping learners throughout Canada strengthen workplace competencies through modern digital learning. “Trusted” here means predictable: learners know what they will build, how long it will take, and what support is available.

Practical learning

Exercises produce tangible outputs: agendas, templates, action logs, and simple planning documents.

Lifelong learning

Short modules help learners build a durable habit of review, iteration, and improvement.

Accessibility

Canada-wide online delivery designed for different time zones and working patterns.

Integrity

Clear educational scope and transparent expectations—no promises about career outcomes.

Quality standards we follow

Each module is written with a simple checklist: a defined learning objective, a model example, a practice task, and a reusable resource. Where concepts are introduced (for example, a basic work breakdown structure, a stakeholder map, or a feedback script), we include a worked template so learners can see what “good enough” looks like without guessing.

We keep the scope educational. Learner support clarifies terms, structure, and application; it does not replace professional advice or role-specific decision-making.

Learning specialists

Profiles below describe educational expertise only. Team members support curriculum development and learner support, and do not provide consulting, legal advice, financial advice, accounting, recruitment, employment placement, engineering services, or advisory services.

Nora K. — Business Administration Educator (Cert. Workplace Training)

Nora has spent 9 years building training that turns administrative work into repeatable systems. Her focus is on documentation hygiene, process mapping, and creating templates that reduce rework—status updates, checklists, and basic reporting structures.

Learners know her for making “office basics” concrete: what belongs in a decision log, how to set file naming conventions, and how to run a weekly admin review that takes 20 minutes and actually sticks.

Daniel S. — Communication Instructor (PGCert Learning Design)

Daniel has taught professional communication for 11 years with a bias toward clarity over polish. He specialises in workplace writing patterns—short updates, meeting minutes, and stakeholder messaging—so teams can make decisions without long threads.

His modules use small constraints (word limits, subject-line rules, and decision-first summaries) to make written communication easier to scan. He also built our feedback scripts library for difficult conversations that stay factual.

Mila R. — Leadership Development Specialist (ICF-aligned Training)

Mila has worked for 8 years on leadership fundamentals for first-time and emerging managers. She focuses on observable behaviours: expectation setting, delegation briefs, and short weekly check-ins with a consistent agenda.

Her lessons avoid advice-giving and stay on skills practice. Learners build a delegation one-pager, a simple escalation path, and a cadence plan that supports psychological safety without drifting into therapy language.

Owen T. — Professional Learning Advisor (Adult Learning Facilitation)

Owen supports learners during registration and throughout the program. He helps route requests to the right format (self-paced vs. scheduled), clarifies participation requirements, and answers questions about how exercises map to common workplace scenarios.

He is known for practical checkpoints: a short readiness list before starting, a mid-program review to keep momentum, and a final “implementation note” that summarises what the learner built. Support remains educational and does not include consulting or professional advice.
